The Chase

Scott took one whole look at his surroundings before returning his focus to a little black booklet in his hand. He lifted the pencil from his other hand and began to write something down. Then he scratched it out and shut the book loudly. He was sitting in front of a tree at the moment, his head leaning on the tree trunk and thinking of what to do. He took the book and placed it in a small black bag along his side. He looked to his other side. A dusty black backpack lay there on its back. He reached out for it, pulling it over to him. He opened it and pulled out a pair of black gloves.

He stared at them for a moment, then he put them on. They reached up his wrists with a circular ring in the center of them. The two rings began to glow white. He continued to stare at these mysterious gloves. He finally stood to his feet, grabbing his pack and putting it on his back. He began to walk away.

"FREEZE MUTENT" That was all that Eric needed tohear to know that he was in trouble. By the time the three Sentinals landed the civilions had cleard out. This was a good thing since Eric hated when people got heart just because he was around. Eric reached out and touched the nearest pay phone, the second he saw the electricity forming around his right hand,he reached out with his left hand so he could point to the sentinal in the middle of the group. "Buddy you don't know who you are messing with." Once he fineshed his sentence he shot a bolt of electricity at the middle ones head.

Sadly it appeared to have no effect on the thing. The eletricity bounced off its head the only way he could take these things down was if he could get to it's wires. But for now he decided to run so he could try to seperate them. He ran to the closest place availiable, the park.

As Scott walked off, he could hear activity going on far back behind him. He pulled his bag off, unzipping it and removing his goggles. He put them over his eyes making his vision darker, but still can see clearly. He closed his bag placing it to his side once more. He darted off to the sounds he had heard. After about two minutes of running he had come to a halt at the parks entrance way. He squinted his eyes behind his goggles to see a figure moving fast towards the entrance. He scratched his head, looking over to the gloves that glowed white. He held his position, waiting for the man to get closer to see what was wrong. But he did not have to. These strange things were following behind him, which he could only assume was the issue.

He moved up above the entrance, waving his hands about the air as a signal to the man. He was unsure how he could help, but it was an unfair fight. He jumped up and down, still waving."Hey! Over here!" He called out to him in case he could not see him. Then he stopped and waited to see what the man's next actions would be.

Eric could not stop running the park was so close. Helooked behind him to see if the sentinels had given up the chase, sadly they were still chasing him and now they were closer. "Hey! Over here!" Eric could not believe it, someone was calling for him. From far away the kid looked normal except for the fact that he was wearing goggles. But Eric had seen stranger things before. Before he could get any closer to the park one of the sentinels fired a energy blast that landed behind him. The blast sent Eric flying in the air right over the kid that called out to him. He landed right next to one of the parks light poles. Eric got up as quick as he could, his ears were ringing as if someone were using chuch bells in his ears.

He dusted the dirt off of his pants and then placed his right hand on the pole. He waited for the sentinels to get closer, then he reached ou with his right hand and let the eletricity transfer from one hand to the next and then fired it at all three of the sentinels. The blast slowed them down but they were getting closer. Eric stopped shooting just in time as another blast came speeding towards him. He jumped out of the way just in time as the blast shot past him and hit a tree. Now he was in a bad position all three sentinels were standing in front of him, he barly has any electricity left and he has no way to get to the pole.

Scott finally noticed the stranger had taken his call for assistance. But before the man could get close enough he was sent flying over Scott. He watched the man as he flew over head, looking back at the robots attacking. They did not even notice him, or look at him, they were so focused on the kid they were chasing. He looked at the exit then the kid. He could tell he was a mutant due to his electric manipulation abilities. Finally he decided to lend a hand. He ran over to the action. The boy on surrounded by the three Sentinels and looking out of options. He began to run, forcing his hands forward to unleash a wave of sonic energy. He smiled, standing straight now."This isn't a very fair fight. " He added in.

He then shot multiple waves of sonic energy at one of the sentinel's heads, hoping it would have some effect. He then waved his hands in the air."Come on tin heads! Over here!" He yelled out to them.
